Tyngsboro Youth LAX is already gearing up for the 2009 Spring Season. This year we have some exciting changes in store. In Addition to our Boys Travel teams (U11, U13 and U15) and Girls Travel Teams (U11, U13 and U15) We will be offering a low cost weekly 'stick clinic' for boys in grades K-2 and Girls in grades K-4.
Our U15 & U13 Boys teams have been filled, we will start a waiting list should there be any additional sign-ups and will add a second team at each level as long as we have enough to do so.
We are still accepting registrations for the Boys U11; all Girls Teams and our stick clinic - if you are interested in signing up please make sure to mail in your registration before December 31st. Registrations received after that will incur a $20 late fee. Please e-mail us if we can answer any questions.
NEW THIS YEAR - Spring Stick Clinic - GRADES K - 4
NEW FOR 2009!!! TYLA is excited to be able to offer a low cost Stick clinic for girls and boys in grades Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th GRADES! This 6 Week clinic will take place in the Spring (start date will be dependent on field conditions). It will be designed to create a FUN and DEVELOPMENTAL program for children interested in learning fundamental skills needed later to compete and excel in the game of Lacrosse. Skills and Drills, mini-games and no travel involved! TYLA will provide sticks and balls to use. The only cost will be a $25 fee to cover your child's required US Lacrosse Membership. Please download a Registration form of our ONLINE FORM page today and mail into our PO Box as soon as possible. Any registrations after 12/31/08 will incur a $20 late fee.
2009 Season Sign-ups
It's time to think SPRING! Registration forms will be available at each sign-up, but if you want to be ahead of the game, please download the forms under our online FORMS section here on our website. 2009 Registration fees will NOW include the required US Lacrosse FEE (last year we had each family obtain their own number, this year we will take care of doing that for you.) Please visit our REGISTRATION PAGE FOR MORE DETAILS. Registration for the 2009 Tyngsboro Lacrosse season for all TYLA Programs including: Boys Travel, Girls Travel and the NEW Stick league was held in October - if you are interested in registering your child for one of our teams, please download a registration form and mail payment and form to our PO box. Please note that registrations postmarked after 12/31/08 will incur a $20 late fee. (The boys U15 and U13 teams have been filled and any additional registrations will be waitlisted.)
Please note: Registrations will be accepted on a FIRST COME - FIRST SERVE Basis. Registrations will be capped at 20 per team with the remainders placed on a waiting list. Registrations can also be mailed before the registration dates to: Tyngsboro Youth Lacrosse, PO Box 723, Tyngsboro, MA 01879.

2008 TYLA Scholarships
Each year TYLA has offered two deserving High School seniors a $250 Scholarship. TYLA is pleased to announce that our 2008 recepients were Victoria Clougher and Mike Silvia. We wish them well as they start their journey through college!
