Summer Lacrosse Programs

2006

The follow is a list of some of the camps and leagues with which TYLA is familiar. This is by no means a complete or even recommended list. As we get more information from players who have attended the programs we will update the list. 2006 is the first year where we've attempted to compile such a list for our players. If you have information that you would like to share about these or any other program, please send it to info@tyngsborolax.org.

Leagues

Groton Summer League

www.foundationslax.com

Well run league with very good competition. Really focused on developing good lacrosse play. Tightly aligned with MBYLL. Highly recommended.

Gate City Lacrosse, Nashua

Loosely run games that are more of the style of pickup. Some free agent teams. Opportunity for ‘field rats’ – middies usually - to play extra games. They have all age groups.

Wide range of caliber for teams. Easy access to fields off of RT 3, Exit 5.

Lowell Recreation

Pick up games run every week. Good range of competition. Highly recommended.  Reasonable price and a lot of fun. Please fill out the attached FORM and mail to

Joe Costello, Lowell Lacrosse                                    Enclose 50$(check only)

222 Fairmount St.                                                                   Payable to:

Games played at the Robinson Field.

Martian Lacrosse / Amesbury

Some TYLA players are already signed up as free agents. It looks worthwhile. The games start later in the evening after rush hour (also when it is cooler). Games are Monday-Thursday. The site is
